TESC 96 - Sympathy Card

Sympathy Card

This is my entry for Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #96. I needed to make a Sympathy Card for my Great Aunt, who lost her husband just before Christmas. He was my Nan's brother, and the last remaining sibling for that generation - an end of an era.

The large circle in the sketch, looked like a full moon and it was a good excuse to ink up my silhouette stamps (my all time favorites). I had a chipboard window in my stash, so I sponged daubed it with Night of Navy Ink to match the color scheme that I had chosen.

The actual card is twice the size of a standard one so I could include the window in the layout.

Thanks for stopping by to browse.

Here's What I Used -
Stamps: Inspired by Nature, Pocket Silhouettes, Thoughts & Prayers
Ink: Baja Breeze, Night of Navy
Cardstock: Whisper White, Night of Navy
Accessories: Walk in the Park DSP, Eyelet border & Oval Scallop Punches, Pretties Kit, Baja Breeze Corduroy Button, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sponge Dauber, Non SU: Chipboard Window, Embossing Folder, Vintage Die Cut
