JAI 106 - the Sketch
As you can see, I flipped the sketch on its side and kept pretty close to the layout.
I used a colour palette inspired by the gorgeous Everyday Enchantment DSP (SU) of Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Soft Suede. Crumb Cake was used as a base and Confetti White for the fence and sentiment. The beautiful daisy cut outs were part of an awesome package of goodies from Helen as a thanks for letting her loose in my craft room a few weeks ago. Thanks again :)
Just a little note to let you know that I won't be blogging for the month of March as I've decided to have a little break. I'll still be creating, gathering ideas on Pinterest and visiting blogs but I need to see if I can cut back my time on the Internet. I'm not sure if you'll get bombarded with posts in April or whether my priorities would have shifted by then. Who knows???
I've got a couple of exciting things coming up which I need to prepare for - a card making class at a local craft store in July and the Niche Market with my good friend, Natalie from biRdy boUy, in August. I really need to wean myself off challenges and concentrate on producing some good quality stock to sell. Not to mention the fact that I'm super busy with work at the moment. Anyway ... I'll give it a go and see what happens. This is stage three in getting back to REALITY!
Until then ...
Happy crafting,
