Still AddINKtive Challenges # 4 - Sketch and Colour

Hi there and welcome to addINKtive designs.  Over at still addINKtive challenges we have a beautiful sketch and colour challenge for you.

S.A. # 4 - Sketch and Colour

I spent the first week of the Summer holidays designing the sketches and I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out and very glad that Kathy has taken charge of all the colour combinations.  We have a great line up in store for you over the next few months.

I really LOVE blue and brown together and was pretty happy with Kathy's choice this week -

s.a. # 4

It's my first week back at work after the summer holiday break and I didn't have a lot of time to spend on this card, so kept pretty close to the sketch.

The Paper Players have a challenge to make a Sympathy card and I made this for a fellow stamping friend who recently lost her daughter.

It's a great idea to have sympathy cards in your stash as they are not the easiest cards to make when you need to.

Here's My Project Recipe:
Stamp Set:  Thoughts and Prayers
Ink:  Early Espresso
Card Stock:  Bashful Blue, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla
Accessories:  Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Top Note Die, Dimensionals, Basic Pearls, Subtles DSP, Punches - Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Large Oval, Scallop Oval

Thanks for stopping by,

This a beautiful and elegant sympathy card and I agree it is handy to have a couple in your stash as they are hard to make when required. Love the colour combination. I have to go up North in a couple of weeks so hopefully I might be able to find time to catch up for a coffee and chat, will inbox you! ♥

Gorgeous card Bron, so soft and pretty, love every detail.
So sorry about your friend's loss. And I agree about sympathy cards - I think they are difficult to make. But
I am sure your friend loved your beautiful card. Everything about it says, "I care".
