CASE-ing the Catty Challenge #16 - New DSP

This week at CASE-ing the Catty we are taking inspiration from the Sale-a-bration Catalogue and using some new SAB DSP or new to you, SU Designer Series Paper on our projects.

There's some gorgeous new Specialty DSP in the SAB Catty called Irresistibly Yours and it can be yours for FREE with a $90 (AUD) SU order.  "This white paper with a glossy white pattern is perfect for colouring using a variety of techniques - colouring reveals the pattern".  I LOVE the stuff and have used sponge daubers with ink to create the ombre background for my card.

I was inspired by the beautiful card on page 14 of the SAB Catty which uses the Irresistibly Yours DSP and the spritzing method -

Method for CTC 16 -
I started off applying Marina Mist ink with a sponge dauber, followed by Pool Party then Soft Sky, blending the colours from dark to light from top to bottom of the card.  The bird images are stamped in Basic Black and the leaves in Night of Navy (World of Dreams Stamp Set).  The moon is a just a white punched circle and the nest is made from Linen Thread and Basic Pearls.  The text was stamped on a strip of vellum with Black Stazon and attached with vellum tape (non-SU).  To finish off my card, I rounded off the top right corner with the PL Corner Rounder Punch.

Why don't you join us at CTC this week and use some new DSP on your project.

Thanks for stopping by,
