CASEing the Catty #85 - For Babies + Kids

Welcome to the latest CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. The Design Team exclusively use SU products for their CTC projects. We CASE (copy and share everything) or use a sketch/layout, colour combo, embellishment, to name a few examples, as a springboard for our own creations.

I'm so glad you've joined the hop.  If you get lost along the way, just click on the banner below to take you to our home blog where you will see a list of participants for this round -

This week we are CASEing projects from the For Babies + Kids (pages 56-65) section of the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue -

My project for CTC #85 would have to be one of the easiest cards I've ever made.  I've used the cute images from the Made with Love Stamp Set (page 59) ...

... and CASED the card from page 62  -

The layout was changed from landscape to portrait, I inked up a different stamp set to the one featured in the catty and the colours were switched for a baby boy card.

I hope you are enjoying the projects so far. You can hop back to Monique Fielder or onward to Rachel Palmieri -

Card in a Box - Ornate Baby Crib Tutorial

Hi there and welcome to addINKtive designs.  I have a new Baby Crib Card to share with you.  It's the third design and is actually a combination of ideas from the first two.  This one has different inserts and is a bit easier and quicker to construct.

In June I created the 'girly pink' version for a competition that Stampin' Up! ® was running called #punchitup and have been meaning to write a tutorial ever since.  It's been in the 'draft' phase for a while but a very lovely friend and work colleague of mine recently had a baby boy, so it was a good opportunity to make another card and finish off the tutorial.

I already had some animal images stamped from Zoo Babies and thought adding baby Teyo's name from Little Letters Thinlits would be a nice touch. It was great to be able to construct this card from the new Thick Whisper White Card Stock; a great addition to the SU range!

I really love how it folds flat for posting but easily opens up to form this cute 3D card.  If you would like to purchase the instructions just click on the tab at the top of my blog - My Tutorials for Sale.

CASEing the Catty - For Baby

Hi and welcome to addINKtive designs and the latest CTC Blog Hop. We are a group of SU Demonstrators that are CASEing (Copying and Sharing Everything) our way through the latest Stampin' Up! Catalogue.

CTC 37 - For Baby

This week we are checking out the Baby section of the catty (pages 31-38).

To make this baby shower card for a work colleague, I followed the tip on page 32 and layered washi tape over Designer Series Paper and used a similar layout to the gift bag.

Project Recipe:
Stamp Set:  Made with Love
Ink:  Memento Black
Card Stock:  Whisper White
Accessories: Tags and Labels Framelits Dies, Gold and Bermuda Bay Sequins Trim, Metallic Foil Doily, Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack, Cherry on Top Designer Washi Tape, 1" Circle Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Thick Baker's Twine (retired colour), Blendabilities: Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake and Bermuda Bay (retired).

I hope you are enjoying the hop.  Up next is the lovely and talented, Rachel -

Card in a Box - Baby Crib Tutorial

Hi there.  Welcome to my blog.  Today I am sharing the second Card In a Box - Baby Crib Card that I designed.  There is a slight difference in the way this Hardwood Baby Crib is constructed compared to the White Zoo Babies one featured in yesterday's post.

Full of the cute little critters from Life in the Forest Stamp Set.

No dies or Big Shot Machine required for this second design, just a paper trimmer and some Stampin' Up! ® punches.

Folds flat into a card sized envelope.

Both designs shown in the above photo are included in my Card in the Box - Baby Crib Tutorial which consists of two, three page tutorials with detailed instructions and photos ($5.00 AUD).

The response in the first 24 hours of its release was beyond amazing!!!  A huge thanks to everyone that purchased the PDF instructions.  I would really LOVE to see what you have created, so feel free to share your photos or blog links via email.

Please note - The tutorials for sale are not available as instant downloads.  As I will be personally emailing your copies, please be mindful of International time differences. On receipt of payment, I will send the PDF files as soon as possible.

CASE-ing the Catty Challenge #5 - Baby

Hello there. It's been a fortnight since I last shared a project for CASE-ing the CattyLast week was just plain crazy but it's good to be back to show you a card that I CASED from page 78 of the Baby Section of the Stampin' Up! ® catalogue.

I kept the layout, used the same stamp set but changed the look dramatically by switching the DSP to Confetti Celebration and matching ink, then added a little flag banner, used ribbon instead of twine and popped a rhinestone on the elephant's trunk.  So happy with the end result.

Here's a little run down on what CTC Challenges is all about -

Each week we will feature a certain section of the catalogue and find a project to use as our inspiration.
You can directly CASE (Copy and Share Everything) or use a sketch/layout, colour combo, embellishment, just to name a few examples, as a springboard for your own creations. It doesn't even have to have the same theme that is featured for the week.   For example, this week we are challenging you to find something from the Baby Section to CASE but you may want to make a birthday or sympathy card.  The possibilities are endless!  It's all about looking at the catty for inspiration and believe me, there's loads of it.  Hope you can join us.
