#imbringingbirthdaysback Stamp-a-Stack

On Thursday night I headed off to a Stamp-a-stack that my lovely up-line was holding at a friend's house and got to make 10 cards in one sitting!  That is a massive achievement for me as it usually takes me all evening to make a single card.  However, Stamp-a-stacks are all about simplicity and I really enjoyed the projects and the company.

#1 - Clean and Simple Sunbursts

The cute clouds were fussy cut from the Shine On Specialty DSP and the Shimmery White sunbursts were spritzed with Crushed Curry Ink.

Thanks, Sharnee, for getting me enthused to make more cards using the Sunburst Sayings Bundle and to use my spritzer more often.

Mother's Day Blog Hop for CASEing the Catty

http://caseingthecatty.blogspot.com/2016/04/ctc75-mothers-day.html

It's good to be back in the blog hop at CASEing the Catty this week!  It's been awhile since I've joined in and I'm really pleased that I had a bit of time to craft this week and to share the card that I have made for my mum for Mother's Day.  It's a Teacup Easel Card with an 'orchid'.

Inspiration came from page 34 of the Occasion's Catalogue

CTC 75 and #tgifc52 - Mother's Day

This card is constructed in a similar way to the one I designed in 2012.  You can view the detailed tutorial HERE and then follow the mini photo tutorial below to see how I adapted it for Stampin' Up! products and accessories only.

This SU Bundle is on the retiring list so get in quick before it's sells out!

($67.00 AUD)

I'm also linking up my card to TGIF Challenges as their theme is Mother's Day -

A Rose Garden Window Card for the Latest Challenge at The Colour Tree

Hi there!  Thanks for visiting addINKtive designs.  I have quite a different window card to share with you today and it was made to highlight the new Colour Tree Challenge for this week.

#TCTC5

A pair of jeans and matching necklace were the inspiration for this week's challenge colours at The Colour Tree -

http://addinktivedesigns.blogspot.com/2016/02/the-colour-tree-challenge-5.html

For this sympathy card I created a window using the single rose die from the Rose Garden Thinlits, attached the navy rose to the inside of the card and then added the larger yellow rose and leaf die cut to the front.  The gorgeous Swallowtail butterfly was stamped on the background panel, along with the small flower stamp from Rose Wonder. The front sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder and a little die cut butterfly from the new SAB Wildflower Fields DSP was added to complete the challenge colour palette.

I hope you will join the latest challenge by linking up your project in the TCT Gallery!  Thanks for stopping by.

Perfect Peacock Paired with Birthday Blooms for The Colour Tree

Adult colouring in books are all the rage at the moment but did you know that Stampin' Up! have a great range of images to colour?  Take this gorgeous Perfect Peacock stamp for example -

I coloured it in with Stampin' Write Markers using the colours for TCT Challenge #4.

A Mini Treat Bag for The Colour Tree

Hi there.  Welcome to addINKtive designs.  I've made a mini treat bag for the third challenge at The Colour Tree and had a lot of fun colouring in the beautiful stamped image from Birthday Blooms with the Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  The rose has an ornamental look about it and is super glittery under the lights; it's a shame that the photos don't do it justice.

I hope the colour combo inspires you to ink up and link up at TCTC #3 this week!

Thanks for stopping by.

Love Blossom Note Cards for The Colour Tree

Hi there.  Welcome to addINKtive designs and a little sneak peek at the colour palette for the next challenge at The Colour Tree.

This week the colours are based on the new Love Blossoms DSP in the current Occasions Catalogue and I have made a set of Butterfly/Doily note cards to highlight the gorgeous combination.

Blushing Bride ...
Rose Red ... Garden Green ...
Crumb Cake and Whisper White

These cards are actually based on a set that I made way back in 2012.
