Dew Drops On Roses

I got a chance to play with the new Spiral Flower Die today (release date 28th January).  A bit of sponging on the petals and the addition of Crystal Effects for the dew drops, just brings this paper rose to life (Cherry Cobbler Card Stock).

A little easel style card was created using one of the gorgeous Chalk Talk Stamps and matching Framelits (White Embossing Powder on Basic Black Card Stock).

It would make a very classy place card for a wedding don't you think?

The leaves were stamped in Garden Green (Fabulous Florets) and fussy cut.

A Vintage Faceted Designer Button was attached with a glue dot to prop up the easel.  I can see that this new Spiral Flower Die will certainly be getting a work out from me.

Morning Meadow

Isn't it exciting when you get a new catalogue in your hot little hands and you pour through the pages and start creating a very long wish list?  Well this gorgeous Hostess Stamp Set in the current annual catalogue was at the top of my list last July and I am still in 'love' with every single image in the Morning Meadow Set.

To add to the general excitement of all things Stampin' Up! ®, there is a brand new Seasonal Catalogue being released at the end of this month (28th January) and there is a set of Banner Framelit Dies.  Yay!  One of the benefits of being a demo is you get the opportunity to pre-order some of your 'must have' goodies a little earlier and I've used one of the banners on my card today.

 Morning Meadow for CCMC 285

I have used the absolutely gorgeous sketch provided by the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge Site and a picture I pinned on Pinterest for inspiration.

Word Bubbles for CASology

'Bubbly' is the code word at CASology this week and instead of thinking all things 'fizzy', I went off in another direction and decided to focus on Word Bubbles.

Word Bubbles

http://casology.blogspot.com.au/2014/01/week-77-bubbly.html

The shape of the card was made using the Round Bubble Punch (Digital Download) from MDS (My Digital Studio), designed in the Silhouette Studio and cut out with my Silhouette Cameo.

The sentiments are from the new stamp set, Just Sayin' which you can purchase as a bundle with matching Word Bubbles Framelits Dies.  I think they are becoming a firm favourite of mine at the moment (Release date in Australia is the 28th January - Woo Hoo!).

I also love the new Sweet Sorbet DSP that is coming out as one of the Sale-a-bration freebies at the end of the month.  I think that all those little coloured dots kind of look like bubbles and  fit in nicely with the 77th theme at CASology.

Thanks, Melissa and co. for a great challenge site and thanks for stopping by,
