A Card in a Box from H2

I love going to the mail box and finding some happy mail instead of the usual bills and department store catalogues.  Check out what was in my mail yesterday (big grin) -

I loved having a catch up time with Lynne and Helen on the weekend.  Thanks so much ladies for a great afternoon - the chats, the Tim Tams, the carrot cake ...

I'm one spoilt girl, don't you think?

By the Tide Card and Gift Box for JAI #212

Hi.  Welcome to addINKtive designs.

I'm enjoying spending some extra time in my craft room and a couple of days ago I finally got around to making a Scalloped Tag Topper Punch card with a matching mini gift box.  I love how they turned out and wanted to make another 'set' using By the Tide.

The latest challenge at Just Add Ink provided me with a gorgeous colour combo and a very good reason to leave the housework for another day.

A Scalloped Tag Topper Punch Card and Mini Box for Colour Q #238

Hi.  Welcome to addINKtive designs.  I'm on holidays at the moment and am enjoying spending a bit more time in my craft room and thought it would be fun to enter a challenge.

I absolutely love the colour combo for the latest challenge at Colour Q and used it as a 'springboard' for a couple of projects that have been on my 'to do' list.

There's so many different types of cards and boxes all over Blogland and Pinterest which have been created using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (SU). Yesterday, I finally got around to making two of my favourites in preparation for a team get together.

I was scoring the card stock for the mini box and realised I had cut out the wrong measurements.  Eeek!  It was my last piece of the floral pattern in the Natural Compositions Specialty DSP so had to make the so called 'matching' box from a different pattern.  Oooops!

De Arn and Jo with their finished projects -

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you are inspired to get all 'inky'.

Natural Compositions

Today I'm continuing on with the Linen Thread theme but have moved onto using the Natural Composition Specialty Designer Series Paper and Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die.

The first two cards were inspired by THIS one I spotted via Pinterest.

The next card was the last one that I made on Tuesday and it became obvious that it was time to call it quits.  My mojo had well and truly disappeared, so I cleared my craft desk and got ready to try some projects with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.  More about those in the next post.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
