Convention Swap - Tag

Hi there.  Just popping in to share my Inspire, Create, Share Swap Tags that I made as extras ... just in case they were needed.  I made 20 something of these little tags that were similar to the card and gift box that I made for roomie gifts.  The original embellishment that I based this on, was spotted on a card shared on the Stampin' Up! ® Website.  No doubt, you have seen a few similar projects that I have made, as I went through a bit of a butterfly, doily, label, twirly linen thread fad there for a while!  Smile :)

The Production Line on My Kitchen Bench -

I was uploading some photos to Splitcoast yesterday and noticed that my card and matching box had made it to the Featured Stampin' Up! Upload in the SU Gallery. Woohoo!  Took a screen shot for posterity.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog,

Hamburger Box Critters - Owl and Koala

I love being a Stampin' Up! ® Demo because you get to pre-order new stuff one month before any of the new catalogues are released, plus you can join Stampin' Connection - it's a place to upload and share your creations with other demonstrators world wide.  Today I want to show you a very cute sneak peek of a couple of boxes made using the Hamburger Box Die. I was really pleased to acquire this new die for FREE just for signing up a new demonstrator during Sale-a-bration time!

It is great to be able to watch videos on Stampin' Connection of demonstrators giving hints and tips about products and view thousands of amazing creations uploaded into the gallery. The reason I'm mentioning this, is that two ladies inspired me today - Betty Traciak, with her gorgeous Hamburger Box Critters and Susan Campfield for her advice on the best way to use the new Fast Fuse adhesive.

I love the variety of critters made using this new box die and thought I would convert my Owl and Koala Cards into Hamburger Box Critters, too!

Summer Days for SUO 99

Well it's not exactly summer here in Tasmania but I don't need an excuse to make a card with a beach or ocean theme.  After all, my first SU stamp set that I purchased 6 years ago was 'Seaside' ... which started me on my paper craft journey and lead me to love creating with SU products, to then becoming a demo and the rest they say is history.

Despite the chilly weather, I have made a flip flop shaped card for the latest theme at SUO Challenges which is Summer Days: Ocean, Beach, Patriotic.  There are so many possibilities with this challenge!

I have some brand new catalogue pre-order goodies to share with you today - four of the five, new, soon to be released, In Colours and matching Stitched Satin Ribbon.  Woo hoo!

 Summer Days - SUO 99

The template that I used was a Silhouette cutting file but if you 'Google', free flip flop card template, I'm sure you will find a few to choose from.

I hope I have inspired you to play along over the next fortnight and share your 'Summer' projects with us.  Don't be 'shy' about leaving a comment as it is great to get some feedback.
