Double Pocket Cards with Tags

Image
If you've been following along with my posts you'll know that this is another instalment from my 'Totally Tags' Demo. I re-visited the double pocket card fold but modified it slightly to suit our Australian Metric Measurements as well as wandering slightly from the original design to create a couple of extra ideas you might like to try. Here's a link to the first one I made using Stampin' Up! products - http://addinktivedesigns.blogspot.com.au/2011/11/jai-92-just-add-tag-or-bookmark.html Here's a link to the tutorial on You Tube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13rwZJg_C_Q&feature=related If you want to use Metric measurements, just follow the instructions on the video using an A4 size piece of patterned paper. Here's my first example for you today.  It uses the gorgeous 12x12, 6x6 patterned papers and die cuts from Kaiser Crafts Miss Match Collection . The sentiment is from Hero Arts and Pearls from SU. I mounted ...

Lego Tag

Image
Lego Tag Just dropping in to post another tag that I made for Monday's demo .   I've seen so many Lego inspired cards on Pinterest that I thought I would make my own little tag using SU's 1" square punch and the Itty Bitty Circle Punch.  I think it turned out quite cute!  Judging by the reactions it was one of the favourites of the day. PS:  A big thank you to K. Dunbrook on Splitcoast who always lets people know if their card was chosen as a favourite for the week/year.  I was honoured to receive both awards.  Much appreciated! CONGRATS......a cas favourite this week (July 23rd) BIG CONGRATULATIONS....your card is a CAS FAVORITES: The Best of 2012 . Happy New YEAR!!!

Tags for Father's Day

I'm chilling out tonight after a 5 hour demo at a local craft shop today.  It was all about tags and you will see quite a few posts over the next few days with some more examples.  Here's just a small snippet of a couple of Father's Day tags that I made.                                             I discovered quite by accident that if you pushed the loop end of the doubled ribbon through the back of the tag, you can make a tie.  You need to cut the ribbon a little over two lengths of the tag.   Both tags feature sentiments from the Flourishes Stamp Set called, A Guiding Light.                                                                       Some kit...

F4A125 - Put it in Your Pocket Splitcoast Stampers have a fun challenge at the moment to 'Put it in Your Pocket' .  My card was made from a couple of sheets of paper called Denim Bloc by Joy Crafts .  The tag was cut from a die (Marianne Creatables) and some Denim Ribbon (SU) added to finish this quick and simple project. This would make a great card for Jeans for Genes Day .                 :)

Strips of Colour for CAS-ual Fridays

Image
CAS-ual Fridays CFC61: Use strips of colour or pattern in your Clean And Simple creation I saw the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays this morning as I was scrolling through my blog feed and remembered the gorgeous photo of all the decorative tapes that Freckled Fawn were advertising ... made a mental note to try and get something made using my stash of washi, masking, artisan's tape ... whatever :) but the whole CAS thing didn't quite go to plan.  I think I over did the buttons and bling!  Oh well, at least 50% of the challenge is right as it was very simple and quick to make. Supplies:   SU buttons, rhinestones, ribbon, brad, sentiment, bird die from Memory Box , tapes from pinkpaislee and Kaszazz. Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Hope you have some time to craft this weekend.
