CASEing the Catty for the Catalogue Launch

Image
Today is the day for our Team (Perfectly Rustics) Catalogue Launch! My up-line came up with an awesome idea to CASE some of the projects in the new catty and my contribution was to re-create the beautiful journal on page 164.  Texturing and Layering Kinda Eclectic Journal Handy Tip:  During the process, I did discover that the journal featured on that page must be bigger than the ones that will be available to purchase on July 1st. The example on page 164 uses the frame from the Apothecary Accents Framelits but when I went to use that, it was far too large for this journal that measures only 8.9 x 14cms. I substituted it with a tag from the Chalk Talk Framelits instead. The whole idea of all the examples featured in the catalogue is to inspire you to recreate them for yourself. You may just like the sketch and substitute the stamp set and embellishments.  It is chocked full of wonderful examples to keep you happy all year round! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ...

Project Life Confetti Pocket Card for the Friday Mashup

Image
Hello!  It's been a very cold, wet and windy Saturday so I thought I would brighten up my day by having a crack at my first 'card' for Project Life .  It's actually a Confetti Pocket Card made from Window Sheets and the PL Cards and Labels Dies . I love the latest theme for FM 166 so decided to join in with their latest challenge. The challenge over at the FRIDAY MASHUP is to - Create a project using "Sequins". Create  a "Hello or Hi project". or Mash it Up! and create a "Hello project with Sequins". I opted to mash it up and include a 'hello' and sequins!  It's also my first time playing along with their challenges. Thanks for the inspiration. FM 166      I actually managed to make 3 projects today so I will back to share something that I made for our team 'Sneak Peek' Catalogue Launch which is on tomorrow. Until then, happy stamping, die cutting, scrapping ...   Thanks! ...

I love team get togethers, especially when you are planning a launch for the brand new catty (launch date - July 1st) and  it's also pretty awesome when you get to do a Make 'n' Take that you didn't have to prepare!! Thanks so much, Sharnee , for designing this super cute card for all of us to make.  It features a gorgeous Hostess Stamp Set that will be available in the new catalogue called 'Hello Love' , plus some yummy new Moonlight DSP and Hello Honey Card Stock. Thanks for stopping by my blog,

Convention Swap - Tag

Image
Hi there.  Just popping in to share my Inspire, Create, Share Swap Tags that I made as extras ... just in case they were needed.  I made 20 something of these little tags that were similar to the card and gift box that I made for roomie gifts.  The original embellishment that I based this on, was spotted on a card shared on the Stampin' Up! ® Website.  No doubt, you have seen a few similar projects that I have made, as I went through a bit of a butterfly, doily, label, twirly linen thread fad there for a while!  Smile :) The Production Line on My Kitchen Bench -        I was uploading some photos to Splitcoast yesterday and noticed that my card and matching box had made it to the Featured Stampin' Up! Upload in the SU Gallery . Woohoo!  Took a screen shot for posterity.  Thanks so much for stopping by my blog,

Hamburger Box Critters - Owl and Koala

Image
I love being a Stampin' Up! ® Demo because you get to pre-order new stuff one month before any of the new catalogues are released, plus you can join Stampin' Connection - it's a place to upload and share your creations with other demonstrators world wide.  Today I want to show you a very cute sneak peek of a couple of boxes made using the Hamburger Box Die. I was really pleased to acquire this new die for FREE just for signing up a new demonstrator during Sale-a-bration time! It is great to be able to watch videos on Stampin' Connection of demonstrators giving hints and tips about products and view thousands of amazing creations uploaded into the gallery. The reason I'm mentioning this, is that two ladies inspired me today - Betty Traciak , with her gorgeous Hamburger Box Critters and Susan Campfield for her advice on the best way to use the new Fast Fuse adhesive. I love the variety of critters made using this new box die and thought I would convert my Ow...

Summer Days for SUO 99

Image
Well it's not exactly summer here in Tasmania but I don't need an excuse to make a card with a beach or ocean theme.  After all, my first SU stamp set that I purchased 6 years ago was 'Seaside' ... which started me on my paper craft journey and lead me to love creating with SU products, to then becoming a demo and the rest they say is history. Despite the chilly weather, I have made a flip flop shaped card for the latest theme at SUO Challenges which is Summer Days: Ocean, Beach, Patriotic.  There are so many possibilities with this challenge! I have some brand new catalogue pre-order goodies to share with you today - four of the five, new, soon to be released, In Colours and matching Stitched Satin Ribbon .  Woo hoo!   Summer Days - SUO 99 The template that I used was a Silhouette cutting file but if you 'Google', free flip flop card template, I'm sure you will find a few to choose from. I hope I have inspi...
