Happy Birthday Anne Marie

Image
The beautiful Anne Marie Hile is celebrating her birthday and I have joined in with the 'Linky' party to wish her the happiest of days! I got to know Anne Marie when I was on the very first Design Team for Dynamic Duos and these days we keep in touch through Facebook.  I heard she likes all things, 'pink and girly' so I have made her one of my Butterfly Easel Cards to wish her a very happy birthday.   Hip, hip hooray!      This card has been electronically cut using my Silhouette Cameo, then stamped, embossed and sanded for the finished look.

Red Velvet Bird

Image
I love the Core'dinations Card Stock in the SU Colours.  After I sanded the embossing on the bird, the soft texture reminded me of a favourite red velvet dress that I wore when I was about 4 years old. This is another project I made at Stamp Camp to showcase SU's digital punches ( My Digital Studio ).  Project Recipe - Extra Large Two-Step Bird Punch Digital Download 122131 - $1.50  Antique Brads 117273 - $9.95 Beautifully Baroque Textured Impressions Embossing Folder 130917 - $13.95   Brights Core'dinations Cardstock 129953 - $41.95 Stampin' Sanding Block 129367 - $6.95 If you are inspired to get inky, ALL products featured on this card are available from my on-line Stampin' Up! ® Store  (Australian Residents Only).  Better still, join my team and get discounted or free products, 24/7.

Workshop Make 'n' Takes for SAB and the New Seasonal Catalogue

Image
On Friday night I held my first proper workshop since re-joining SU.  It was more like a stamp class as all the participants got to make two cards to take home with them.  I wanted to feature items from the new Seasonal Catalogue, SALE-A-BRATION and the current Ideas Book and Catalogue.  This is what I came up with -   Make 'n' Take # 1 - Just Because (14/3/13 - I've linked this card to the latest challenge at still addINKtive ) Guests could choose to do an alternative colour scheme to the one pictured above - Primrose Petals Core'dinations card Stock embossed with the Fancy Brocade embossing folder and a Pool Party Decorative Label behind the sentiment.   Make 'n' Take # 2 - Friends This one was a lot quicker to make and both designs got the tick of approval from all the guests.  Inspiration for the second card came from page 13 of the Seasonal Catalogue.   Project Recipe by Catalogue - IB&C:  Stamp Set - Flock Togeth...

I just love owl stamps and this little guy from SU's Fox and Friends is still a firm favourite of mine.  I teamed him up with a couple of new 'toys' that I have been itching to play with - a Cloudy Sky embossing folder and a new Garden Gate die. Another Butterfly Easel Card

Image
This little Butterfly Easel Card is made from the Cuttlebug Butterfly Die. It is cut from Core'dinations Color Card Stock, embossed with a folder from the CB set and then sanded with the Sand It Tool.  To embellish, I adhered a Kaiser Craft Blossoms Resin Flower to the centre of the butterfly. PS:  Thanks, Grace, for letting me borrow back this die.
