ADDINKTIVE DESIGNS

If you know me, then you'll know that I love to make easel cards.  This was made from the new Delicate Doilies Sizzlits and it makes a rather cute little Christmas card. Normally I wouldn't attempt to cut out two thicknesses of card stock (which you need to do for an easel card) using a sizzlits die.  It does, however, manage to cut through two layers of SU's Whisper White - only just! I cut out the medium sized doily from Pool Party card stock and placed it under the snowflake stamped image (white embossed on vellum), added a rhinestone , some matching seam binding and a glitter brad . The snowflake and sentiment are both from the Snow Swirled Stamp Set. Thanks for stopping by,

Candy Cane Holder from the Two Tags Die I discovered a cute little candy cane holder on Stampin' Connection made by Cristy Butzen,  You can find the tutorial on her blog, Tinker with Ink. As I don't have any current Christmas DSP until my order arrives, I used the Snow Swirled Stamp Set instead and added a loop of crochet trim so it can hang on the Christmas tree.  A combination of Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive was used on the Very Vanilla base and an Antique Brad  for a touch of 'vintage'.
