Tonight the Crew have 'CASED' ideas from the Wedding Section of the Occasions Catalogue (pages 42 - 44).  There's lots of inspiration packed into 3 pages and here's what inspired me to make a cute little Tealight Birdhouse - Theme:  Wedding (Favour/Décor) Colour:  Blushing Bride, Wild Wasabi, Sahara Sand, Kraft (Baked Brown Sugar) Technique:  White Embossing on Vellum and Colouring the Images Accessories:  Sahara Sand Lace Trim I love the ' Choose Happiness ' Stamp Set and the white embossing on the vellum gives it a soft 'romantic' look.       The DIY Mini Milk Carton was designed by Sam from Pootles Papercraft and I followed a video tutorial on Stampin' Connection made by Maria Russell. Hi there and welcome to addINKtive designs.  As it's only less than a week until Good Friday, CASE-ing the Catty Challenges are looking at the  Easter section of the Occasions Catalogue (page 34 and 35)  for our challenge inspiration this week. You can directly CASE a project (Copy and Share Everything) or use a sketch/layout, colour combo, embellishment, just to name a few examples, as a springboard for your own creations.  Or simply use some new Stampin' Up! A Mini Treat Bag for CTC #22   There's a gorgeous card on page 17 of the SAB Catalogue that is the inspiration for this week's sketch challenge at CASE-ing the Catty .  There's a link to the catalogue on my side bar.  It features one of the sentiments from the  Simply Wonderful SAB Stamp Set (Free with a $90 (AUD) SU purchase before the end of March) and a butterfly cut from the new Butterfly Thinlits Die (Occasions Catalogue).  I really loved the sample card so much that I CASED the layout -   CTC #22 - Sketch Challenge   Here's my take on the sketch -               For my project I decided to attach a cute little flower made from the new Bouquet Bigz Die  onto a Mini Treat Bag. Ooops!  I'm a bit late posting my card for the latest challenge at CASE-ing the Catty .  This is my first day at home for two weeks as I have either been at work or away!  It's been frustrating having an idea in my head for ages and not having the time to get into my craft room to actually put those thoughts into action. CTC 20 - Use Blendabilities and Framelits "Did you know that during SALE-A-BRATION (SAB) you can choose a Blendabilities assortment as your free item with a $90 (AUD)/$110 (NZD) purchase?"  I used Bermuda Bay and Pumpkin Pie  Blendabilities on my card and chose the Window Frames for the second part of the challenge (to use Framelits).
