Paper Succulents made from Stampin' Up! Punches and Dies

Image
Succulents are the latest trend in Home Decor ; you can spot them in just about every gift shop - real ones, plastic or felt replicas, pictures, stationery items etc. ... so it made perfect sense to create some paper ones with Stampin' Up! supplies. After a bit of a search on Pinterest , I came across a great tutorial by Allison Okamitsu . I decided to CASE all her gorgeous samples and only changed the colour for one of them.  Wow! I am totally hooked on paper succulents. Thanks for the creative inspiration, Allison.  I even added a little one of my 'own' to the bowl and can see myself making a few more in the not too distant future.  The grey bowl and rocks were purchased from Spotlight (Australia). Make sure you check out Allison's tutorial for inspiration.  I have included the 'recipe' below for easy reference - 1.  Flower Fair Framelits Die, Mossy Meadow Card Stock and Ink, Gorgeous Grunge Stamp - Cut 5 2.  Fun Flower Punch, Pear P...

Hi there.  It's the first Monday of the month and that means The Stamp Review Crew are back for another blog hop.  We are a group of International Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who love to show you lots of creative ways to use your stamps.  This round we are featuring the stamp set, I think You're Great . If you get lost along the way, just click on the banner below to take you to the main blog where you will see a list of participants for this round. I Think You're Great is also very versatile for lots of other techniques - I have demonstrated the kissing technique (sentiment), repeated stamping for the background, stamping on a die cut (sun's rays) and making your own stamped DSP for some paper piecing (the camper or 'caravan' in Aussie lingo).   I only have one project to share today as I am b...

Bonus!  I'm really looking forward to hopping along this round to see the variety of ideas for such a cute holiday stamp set. If you get lost along the hop, just click on the banner below to see the order of participants for this round - I only have one card to share with you today as it's that crazy time of the year and the weather has been incredibly HOT.  I made a flying easel card for a good friend who recently invited a few of us around for Christmas celebrations at her place.  I popped in a Village Cinemas Gift Card inside the vel...
