A 3D Baby Crib Card for SUO Challenges

Image
Cute Critters is the theme for the latest challenge at SUO Challenges #145.   My sister asked me to make a special 3D card for a baby boy, so I decided to combine one of my favourite retired stamp sets, Fox and Friends with Zoo Babies to make this baby crib card. I couldn't resist inking up that little owl again and I love how both sets complement each other; so many cute critters on one card!     Thanks for stopping by, Thanks, SUO -

The Colour Tree Challenge #12

Image
Hi and welcome to the twelfth challenge at The Colour Tree .  This week I have an earthy colour combo to inspire you in your paper craft projects.  A huge big thank you to Liz Gross who joined TCT for the month of March as a Guest Designer and kept the inspiration flowing with her beautiful projects. #TCTC12 After a bit of a break from paper crafting due to the busyness of work, I actually managed to make a card to share with you today.  I think I'll save this one for my brother-in-law's birthday as the colour palette works well for a masculine card.  Bronwyn Eastley March has been a quiet month for TCT but I hope you have more time over the Easter Break to get 'inky' and link up your project/s in the gallery. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Challenge Guidelines - Now it's your turn.  If you would like to enter the challenge, please follow these instructions, have fun and inspire other s - Crea...

Gumnuts for The Colour Tree

Image
Yay!  I actually made a card today.  Due to the busyness of work, I hadn't ventured into my craft room for two months!  I am very thankful for the Easter break because I finally had a chance to start tidying up my very messy craft room and 'christen' a new Kaisercraft Die called Gumnuts .   This card has a split front panel and incorporates the colours from the latest challenge at The Colour Tree .  The leaves and gum nuts were sponged with Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede Ink to add more depth.  The Lost Lagoon DSP panel is from a retired SU DSP stack.  Kaisercraft Gumnuts - DD 359    March has been a bit of a quiet month at TCT but hopefully this earthy colour palette and some extra crafting time will inspire you to join in with this week's colour challenge. Hope to see your project in the link up. Thanks for stopping by,

The Colour Tree Challenge #11

Welcome back to another challenge at The Colour Tree.  It's Easter week and with all the challenges around that theme, I've tried to find colours that could be used for any type of paper craft project and strayed away from pinks and purples and other 'Easter' colours; that's not to say that these TCT colours wouldn't look great together for an Easter project, I just wanted to allow for more diversity.   I've just come back from a week in Sydney where I attended a Principal's conference so no time to craft for me.  Fortunately, my lovely Guest Designer, Liz, has an absolutely stunning card to share with us today. Don't you just love the beautiful water colour background that she has created?  We hope it inspires you to join in with this week's challenge. The Colour Tree Challenge #10

Image
Hi there.  I'm so glad you have stopped by TCT Challenges .  If you love neutral shades you're going to love this week's colour combo at The Colour Tree .  Sadly I don't have a project to share with you today as my day job is all consuming at the moment and my craft room is in chaos.  These two factors combined equals zero 'mojo' for me :(  My stash of cards that I made over the summer break for TCTC have run out and I will need to wait until after Easter before I can find the time to craft again. Thankfully, Liz, my March Guest Designer has a project to share with you.  Make sure you hop by her blog and leave some comment love - Elizabeth Gross Tomorrow I'm off to Sydney for a Principal's Conference so I will check in next weekend to see what projects have been linked up.  Until then ... Happy crafting! About The Colour Tree Challenges - Every Sunday night at 7pm (AEDT) I host a weekly colour challenge where you can ink...
