JAI 127 - A Colour Challenge

Image
JAI 127 I love a good colour challenge so I decided to join in with the other DT at Just Add Ink on my 'off' week  It's a simple colour combo of black and white but you get to choose the third colour option. I chose Sage Green and made a very CAS card. The die cut is from Silhouette. The beautiful sage coloured patterned paper is from the Fairytale Collection (Graphic 45) and the rhinestones are from SU. I hope you can join in with the challenge at JAI.    Happy crafting and have a great weekend.

Double Pocket Cards with Tags

If you've been following along with my posts you'll know that this is another instalment from my 'Totally Tags' Demo. I re-visited the double pocket card fold but modified it slightly to suit our Australian Metric Measurements as well as wandering slightly from the original design to create a couple of extra ideas you might like to try. Here's a link to the first one I made using Stampin' Up! products - http://addinktivedesigns.blogspot.com.au/2011/11/jai-92-just-add-tag-or-bookmark.html Here's a link to the tutorial on You Tube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13rwZJg_C_Q&feature=related If you want to use Metric measurements, just follow the instructions on the video using an A4 size piece of patterned paper. Here's my first example for you today.  It uses the gorgeous 12x12, 6x6 patterned papers and die cuts from Kaiser Crafts Miss Match Collection . The sentiment is from Hero Arts and Pearls from SU. JAI 104 - Back to School (Better Late than Never)

Image
If you're doing a double take, I can explain ... Just Add Ink HAD an awesome Back to School Challenge LAST week but I was so busy being back at school myself, that I didn't get time to photograph and blog about my entry! Wow! I must have been super stuffed to miss a challenge. JAI 104 - Back to School I made the post it note holder and card to welcome a new member of staff into the grade 5/6 class. The acrylic frame was purchased for a little under $4, and I jazzed it up with some SU ribbon, Kaiser Craft Papers from the Class of 87 Collection and attached a mini gel pen to finish it off. The main image on the card is from Hampton Art - Graphic 45 which I decided not to colour in order to give it that vintage feel (Actually, if I was really truthful ... I just wasn't in the mood for colouring in :) . Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting,
