My son asked me to make a card for him to give to his girlfriend's mum for her 50th Birthday!  So ... I guess it needed to be pretty special.  She loves to sew dresses for her daughter so the Dress Form Pop 'n' Cuts was an obvious 'springboard' for the rest of the design. Some Sweet Sorbet DSP (SAB - free with every $90 purchase) helped me to decide on the colour combo and the long forgotten Sweet Buttons Embosslits was a 'must' to add to the dress making theme. I blew dust off the retired set, Sew Suite , so I could stamp that cute little sewing machine image on the envelope to complete the project.  Inside View Outside View I just love how easy it was for a variety of Stampin' Up! ® products to come together to make this card.  My favourite little 'added extra' is the Needlepoint Border embossing down the sides of the card front. I've seen a few cards around in 'Blogland' and 'Pinterest' which have a Smart Phone Die and thought I would make my own iPhone Card using Stampin' Up's! Digital Punches from My Digital Studio .       I checked out my daughter's phone (slightly different to my iPhone 5) and used that as inspiration to design the template.   As you can see from the above diagram, I used only 3 very basic digital punches - circle, square (stretched to make the rectangular shapes) and the Word Window digital downloads. The template was designed in my Silhouette Studio (Designer Edition) and electronically cut out with the Silhouette Cameo. I've had this idea in my head for ages and when I saw the bright colour combo at Just Add Ink this week, I finally got around to transferring my thoughts onto paper!  One project from the very long list of 'must do's' is now done.  Sometimes I wake up at crazy times in the early hours of the morning with an idea and have to write it down just incase it 'floats' away.  Now I have Mondays off, once again, yay! ...
