A Rose in Rich Razzleberry The First Project at Stamp Class A few weeks back, Tania made a card like this for her Just Add Ink Design Team Submission for a Sketch Challenge. Well ... I totally fell in love with every square centimetre of it, particularly the beautiful paper rose. I was pretty excited to see that her contribution the other night at Stamp Class was a tutorial on how to make one of our own!! Can you hear my squeals of delight?? I love the layout and the colour combo and can't wait to try it out in other colours too! Oh! and looky below at the gorgeous card I received in the mail from Tania last week. I think all the JAI girls got spoilt. Thanks, buddy ... I'll treasure it! Gasp! I'm going to miss Pale Plum!!

Vintage Bird Post It Note Holder A Glimpse Inside This is the little post-it note holder that we made at Stamp Class last Friday night. Thanks to Rochelle for hosting such a fun evening. This was the second project out of three that we made. I'm hoping Rochelle will post details on her blog soon (hint, hint) so I can link you up to the directions on how to make this cute little gift. PS: Here's the link . Happy crafting. We made these using Old Olive Cardstock and the Vintage Vogue stamp set. I chose to decorate mine with the XL Two-Step Bird Punch using Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry with a bit of sponging. I love how it turned out. Men's Shirt Card This is the card that I did for our last stamp class. Well there was not a lot of stamping involved in this one, only a sentiment for inside the card. You can find the original tutorial on Amy Celona's Blog . She also has some other great ideas for Father's Day cards. This was so easy that the children in my grade 5/6 class will get to make one for their dads! Here's the Project Recipe: Cardstock: Brocade Blue, Textured Very Vanilla Accessories: Silver Brads, Double Stitched Chocolate Chip Ribbon, White Gel Pen, Dimensionals, Small Tag and 1 1/4" Square Punches I have quite a few things lined up to post but the weather has been dull and overcast for the last two days which has made taking photographs a bit tricky. Scallop Envelope Box No... you don't have to be a Big Shot to attend Friday night's stamp club but you get to create these examples with the Big Shot embossing and die cutting machine - my favourite toy! The above example uses the Scallop Envelope Die (X4). It's simply a matter of sticking the side flaps together to form a box, add a cute little birdie on a branch made from the Two-Step Bird Punch and that's about all there is to it. I used the sturdy Sweet Slumber Specialty DSP for the box and Riding Hood Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon to tie up the cellophane bag. Stampin' Up! often add some great ideas to the Demonstrators' Personal Web Sites. I've CASED just one of their fantastic samples. You'll find the Project Recipe and the original card featured HERE. I made some minor changes by substituting the featured DSP with a Tangerine Tango coloured DSP from the Haiku Collection and a sentiment from Tiny Tags instead of Teeny Tiny Sentiments. This is one of the cards the ladies will be making this Friday night at my dINKy chicks' stamp club. The next one I made using the colours from the latest Colour Challenge at Just Add Ink . It was one of my colour combo suggestions and Amanda and Danielle decided to run with it for this week's challenge. I have had a break from the Design Team due to holidays and the busyness of life but I will be back on Friday 2nd July with a new submission! Having Fun Look What I Made! A Close Up of Amanda's Cupcake Gift Box Helen's Cupcake Gift Box ... sharing the fun with friends! Don't you agree? Last night Helen and Amanda came around to make a little cupcake gift box and to have a play with some stamps, punches etc. It was so good to share my stamping space (a converted rumpus room) with real people and not just my computer screen! It's been about 3 months since I held my last class but they'll be happening once a month for the rest of the year! They had fun crafting while I unpacked my new box of goodies (Autumn/Winter pre-order) and put together the new stamp sets I had received. It was good to catch up and chat until late. A big Happy Birthday TODAY to the lovely and talented, Amanda, who first introduced me to Stampin' Up! almost 2 years ago!
