A Smart Phone Card made from SU's Digital Punches

Image
I've seen a few cards around in 'Blogland' and 'Pinterest' which have a Smart Phone Die and thought I would make my own iPhone Card using Stampin' Up's! Digital Punches from My Digital Studio .       I checked out my daughter's phone (slightly different to my iPhone 5) and used that as inspiration to design the template.   As you can see from the above diagram, I used only 3 very basic digital punches - circle, square (stretched to make the rectangular shapes) and the Word Window digital downloads. The template was designed in my Silhouette Studio (Designer Edition) and electronically cut out with the Silhouette Cameo. Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrators can download the FREE TEMPLATE (PDF) from Stampin' Connection.   (Sorry, but I won't be sending any out by email) The 'text' was made from the 'Just Sayin' Stamp Set and cut from the 'Word Bubbles Framelits Dies'. Thanks so much for stopping b...

24

Not only is 24 my son's favourite TV Series, it's also how old he turned last week.  Happy Birthday, Ryan!  I kept his card pretty plain and simple as he's a 'no frills' kind of guy.    Once again I have used Digital Punches , converted them into cutting files to make this '24' shaped card - Timeless Type Junior Numbers Alphabet Soup ... then cut the card base and letters with my electronic cutter. I love the sentiment, "YOU'RE HOW OLD?" from the Just Sayin' Stamp Set and matching Word Bubbles Framelits , my favourite 'bundle' from the new Occasions Catalogue .           Thanks so much for stopping by,  For Stampin' Up! ® supplies, 24/7, make sure you check out my on-line shop -

UNDEFINED Vespa Flip Card and Gift Card Holder

Image
I've always wanted a 'scooter' stamp so I got really brave and pulled out my UNDEFINED Stamp Carving Kit and set about making one for myself! My drawing skills 'suck' so I 'Googled' 'free svg files, scooter' and found this really cool silhouette image of a 1960's Piaggio Vespa , then printed out the image to the size that I wanted, traced around the outline with a pencil and transferred it to the piece of rubber from the UNDEFINED Stamp Carving Kit .  The tools were so easy to use and I was able to produce a slightly modified version of the clip art image (In other words, I left off all the little fiddly bits).     I absolutely LOVE the Thinlits Card Dies and decided to make a flip card to feature my newly stamped scooter image.  It was meant to go in the previous challenge at Just Add Ink but I got a bit busy this week on the work and home front and never got to finish it in time.   There's also lots of sneak peeks of some, ...

Word Bubbles for CASology

Image
'Bubbly' is the code word at CASology this week and instead of thinking all things 'fizzy', I went off in another direction and decided to focus on Word Bubbles . Word Bubbles The shape of the card was made using the Round Bubble Punch (Digital Download) from MDS (My Digital Studio), designed in the Silhouette Studio and cut out with my Silhouette Cameo.  The sentiments are from the new stamp set, Just Sayin' which you can purchase as a bundle with matching Word Bubbles Framelits Dies.   I think they are becoming a firm favourite of mine at the moment (Release date in Australia is the 28th January - Woo Hoo!). I also love the new Sweet Sorbet DSP that is coming out as one of the Sale-a-bration freebies at the end of the month.  I think that all those little coloured dots kind of look like bubbles and  fit in nicely with the 77th theme at CASology. Thanks, Melissa and co. for a great challenge site and thanks for stopping by,

Hey There! for CCMC 284, Mojo Monday 327 and Addicted to CAS

Image
'Hey There' want to see some sneak peeks and other cool stuff 'cause I just made my first card for the year.  Yay! It's been ages since I ventured into my craft room to stamp.  I was in the middle of cleaning and tidying the kitchen drawers but got distracted by the arrival of some pre-order goodies.  I couldn't believe that my order only took 2 days to arrive.  That must be some sort of record for delivery to Tassie. I honestly didn't know where to begin so I went looking for a couple of challenges to help give me a 'kick start'.  The Colour challenge at CCMC looked like fun and I always love the sketches at Mojo Monday (even though I don't get a chance to join in very often).  So I put the two together and came up with this CAS card - Hey There! for CCMC and Mojo Monday   Create with Connie and Mary Colour Challenge #284 & Mojo Monday #327 & ... then I discovered that Addicted to CAS had a challenge with the...
