Tea Cup Easel Card Tutorial and Kit Give Away

Image
Thank you so much to the twelve lovely ladies that left me a comment about what colour combo they would like to see for my Tea Cup Easel Card. RANDOM.ORG. has chosen number 11 .  Congratulations to Mae Collins! You'll have to trust me when I tell you that this was done with integrity and number 11 was the first number that was randomly selected.  I'm just a bit clueless as to how to save a Random.Org. generated widget where the winning number stays put!  It's past my bed time so that problem will have to be solved another day. This is what Mae had to say ... Mae Collins said... WOW Bron this is gorgeous! Any colour combination you choose would be fine with me! ♥ Mae has won a pdf of the tutorial and a free kit containing the die cuts needed to make the card.  You can check out all the colour combo ideas in the comment section of my original post. Thanks for playing along. PS:  Here's a recent email that I received -   ...

Tea Cup Easel Card and a Little Give Away

Tea Cup Easel Card Hi there!  Just a quick post to let you know that I have almost finished a tutorial for my Tea Cup Easel Card just in time for Mother's Day!  I made a few slight modifications to the original design and used a different colour combo. Update - April 30th, 2012 The tutorial is now available to purchase as a pdf file for $4 (AUD) and Australian residents will have the option of buying a kit (die cuts only - no stamped images) and the tutorial for $10 (includes postage). I have used the beautiful Elements of Style stamp and colour combo from SU, consisting of Pool Party, Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake, along with a variety of dies from three other companies (See project recipe from original post). Just to make things a little more interesting, I've decided to have ... A Little Give Away -  I'd love to know what colour combos you would suggest for the doily, tea cup, rim and bird. All you had to do was make a comment and follow my humble little blog. Well, the draw was very random because I just asked my son to pick a number from 1 to 6. He had no idea why and just said 3. and so the winner is ...... Number three ...... Mae Collins! Who needs Random Org?? Congratulations, Mae. Please email me with your address details so I can pop them in the post to you ASAP. Your earrings have been made with white 'pearls'. Cheers, Bron XX

JAI Challenge # 5 - Just Add Dimension

Jewellery Box, Earrings and Bracelet This week, at Just Add Ink , the challenge is to just add 'dimension'. Wow! the possibilities are endless!!! I ought to know because it took me a long time to decide on what project I was going to submit! What would I make? .. a box, a bag, a card with Stampin' Dimensionals (Hang on ... 99% of my cards just have to have those, as I can't live without them!) What about a pop-up card or maybe some jewellery? Over the summer, I bought quite a few templates from the Digi Chick Boutique and I wanted to use one of those. I had made quite a few cup cake gift boxes and was tempted to do another, until I saw some great jewellery boxes on Splitcoast using the match box template. I finally decided to make some jewellery pieces using the Pretties' Kit and the Filigree Brads and make a jewellery box to accompany them. The Pretties' Kit can be used for a Variety of Projects I printed and cut out 6 small matchbox templates (with my P...
