ADDINKTIVE DESIGNS

After much indecision, I decided to go with this very CAS design for our team swap on Saturday night.  I have recently re-joined SU and met Sharnee's Team for the first time.  Nine of us ladies had a wonderful time chatting and making the Christmas Ornament that features on the front of the current Holiday Catalogue . I'll post a photo when I've had a chance to complete it. Thanks, Sharnee and all the girls, for making me feel so welcome and providing me with lots of bits and pieces to make the ornament.  Hope my order arrives soon so I can start making some more Christmas projects.

If you know me, then you'll know that I love to make easel cards.  This was made from the new Delicate Doilies Sizzlits and it makes a rather cute little Christmas card. Normally I wouldn't attempt to cut out two thicknesses of card stock (which you need to do for an easel card) using a sizzlits die.  It does, however, manage to cut through two layers of SU's Whisper White - only just! I cut out the medium sized doily from Pool Party card stock and placed it under the snowflake stamped image (white embossed on vellum), added a rhinestone , some matching seam binding and a glitter brad . Yay!  At last a card to share, my first since re-joining SU!  I have about 5 cards I need to make and this is the first one to tick off my 'to do list'.  It's a public holiday in Northern Tasmania and I'm enjoying spending time in my craft room today.  FMS #59  I scrolled down the list of my favourite challenge blogs and found a great sketch by Cindy at Freshly Made Sketches and then used the Colour Coach to help me decide on the colour combo.
