A Card for a Triple Celebration This card was made for friends who have a triple reason to celebrate this year - Their 40th Wedding Anniversary A 60th Birthday A 65th Birthday 3 milestones in one year! I used the colour palette to match the beautiful new ' Everyday Enchantment ' DSP. All products are SU except for the birds (Martha Stewart punch), Tim Holtz Alterations, Carnivale Die for the letters/numbers and the card was from a pack of pre-folded centre step cards. Coffee Kiki Inkspirations Challenges has a new home and a bigger Design Team so I just HAD to find the time to join in and have a go at their latest Sketch Challenge . Inkspirations Sketch # 47 The 'flower' image seemed to be the real focal point and finally I had a project 'worthy' enough to place one of the gorgeous crocheted flowers that Patrice had made for me. I have been looking at all the lovely crocheted flowers that Patrice and my other friend, Andrea, have made. It's been so hard to take them out of my little dish which sits on my stamping desk and use them, unless of course they're for a really special project! A Note of Thanks There's a sketch challenge at Just Add Ink this week and it's gorgeous! There's so many possibilities for this one. I started off with the idea of using the 'Great Friend' stamp set and then did a complete 'U' turn and ended up with this! I had been admiring the little birds that people make from buttons and co-ordinating stamps and thought I'd make up my own using a couple of punches and the Cheep Talk Stamp Set. I love how the little birdie turned out! If you haven't already figured it out, I love cards with owls on them. I've had a drool at the new catalogue from the U.S. and am hoping we get that gorgeous Two-Step Owl Punch but in the meantime I managed to spot this little Sizzix Owl Die at a craft shop last weekend. I had a few spare kits left over from my last stamp class so decided to use them up but just change the owl design in the middle in order to try out my new die! I think it's cute! All I can say is I am thankful for Photoshop as it is a very dull, rainy Sunday morning and I'm sitting here at my study desk amusing myself, waiting for the tiler to come and finish our bathroom tiles and trying to recover from this nasty bug that hasn't coughed itself away just yet!
