Punch Art Mermaid Owl

Image
Hi there. Do you love punch art?  I've had this idea for a little punch art mermaid owl and scallop 'shell' for a while now and finally got around to putting it together (Gotta love holidays).  I bought the Bow Builder Punch when it was first released and all I could think of was a mermaid tail and I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't used it to make a bow yet! The scallop shell is made from one of the petals in the Bouquet Bigz Die!  There are also three sneak peeks of some new products that are being released in a couple of days (5th January) with the launch of the new Occasions Catty!  I have the details listed in my Project Recipe at the end of this post. Digital Punch Art - My Favourite Technique for SUO Challenges

Image
What's my favourite technique at the moment?  The answer would have to be designing little owl characters using digital punches from MDS (Digital Punch Art). All week I have been playing on my laptop (after work of course) and have been designing quite a few owl cards (mostly pirates). Today I decided to cut out and assemble my little Red Indian Owl as I was anxious  to see what it looked like in real life and not just on a computer screen.  I must admit that I was pretty pleased with how it turned out.  The challenge at SUO Challenges #79 is to "create a project using your favourite technique.  What's the technique that you use that makes you smile the most when you're working on or have completed a project?" My owl cards certainly bring a smile to my face every time I make one.  They are a bit addictive at the moment. SUO Challenges #79 - Your Favourite Technique    Digital Punch Art      Proje...
