Hi there, just popping in with a quick post to let you know that Paper Crafter's Library featured one of the latest trends, 'Feathers', in one of their blog posts this week.  It was a buzz to share my Project Life Confetti Pocket   with PCL, along with Helen , a good friend of mine, whose emboss resist feather card is just gorgeous. At CASE-ing the Catty Challenges  we are up to the Thanks Chapter of the Stampin' Up! ® Catalogue already!  Time flies when you're having fun. My project is CASED from page 145.  Instead of using the gorgeous embellishments just to package the little journal, I decided to put them on the front cover instead. CTC #9   Some Fancy Foil Designer Vellum was used instead of a Dots Mask , plus some different stamp sets and In Colour Sequins to add my own twist to it.  I did, however, keep the great colour combo - Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Gold. I've just spent a lovely weekend away on a Women's Retreat for church. We stayed at Camp Clayton in Ulverstone.  Of course I just had to take some of my stamping stash to play with. I really love one of my new stamp sets, 'Choose Happiness' and seeing "the beach is my happy place", I combined the two and found some beautiful, smooth rocks to stamp the images on.   My friend, Nadia, took these photos for me and I love how they turned out.            The feather image is a little sneak peek from a new, soon to be released stamp set called Four Feathers (available 28th August).
