Hi there and welcome to addINKtive designs . I'm excited to share some Valentine projects in my first blog hop with The Stamp Review Crew .  About Us - We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who want to show you how much you can do with one stamp set. We will feature one stamp set with each blog hop, and each stop on the hop will show you a different idea using that set! I've had this idea in my head for ages and when I saw the bright colour combo at Just Add Ink this week, I finally got around to transferring my thoughts onto paper!  One project from the very long list of 'must do's' is now done.  Sometimes I wake up at crazy times in the early hours of the morning with an idea and have to write it down just incase it 'floats' away.  Now I have Mondays off, once again, yay! ... Valentine's Day is just around the corner, so to celebrate this special day, I have made a cupcake gift card holder using the Digital Cupcake Punch from MDS (My Digital Studio) and my trusty Silhouette Cameo . Inside Pocket Colour and 'cupcake' inspiration for my sweet little project came from the Color Throwdown -  and Perfectly Rustics have a theme challenge to ' Show the Love ' (include the word 'love') - ... a perfect match! This week at still addINKtive challenges Kathy has chosen a beautiful colour combo.  I thought the colour palette was perfect for one of my little Valentine Chocolate Holders . My newest SAB set, Bloomin' Marvellous, was wanting to get inky for the first time, so in keeping with 'tradtition' for this time of the year, I came up with a similar design to past years but swapped the stamp set to a current SAB one. It's the Fifth Week of the Month at s.a. challenges so we will either have a sketch or a colour combo for inspiration.  We've decided to go with this trio and can't wait to see your lovely creations. Have you been smitten by the Love Bug? I saw a cute little 'bug' like this on Pinterest .  Jessica Williams from The Paper Caper made some cute bugs in skinny cellophane bags with red and green lollies.  I thought I would make a little Love Bug for Valentine's Day using pink and red skittles, SU's Googly Eyes, cellophane bags, Baker's Twine and a Tiny 'Love' Tag.   My 'take' isn't as cute but it was a fun little craft project that I had wanted to try out ever since Delys 'pinned' it.  My friends pin the most amazing cool stuff!

Having a new box of pre-order goodies land on my door step was very exciting.  Having my mum stay for a few days was lots of fun too but it meant that I had to forget about the big brown box that was sitting in my craft room for a few days.  Mum and I enjoyed a bit of shopping and went to the cinema to see Les Misearbles.  We had a lovely, restful time.  She left today so I couldn't stop myself from wandering into my craft room to play with some stamps, dies and accessories from the new Seasonal Catalogue, which will be released in Australia on February 1st.
