Envelope Punch Board File Folder Cards for Father's Day

Image
Just a quick post to show you a couple of cards that I designed for our Envelope Punch Board Class.  I decided to go with the one on the left and chose a masculine theme especially for Father's Day.     If you would like instructions on how to make 'file folder' cards using the EPB, I discovered a site that has a great video tutorial and a free PDF download - http://catherinepooler.com/2013/09/envelope-punch-board-file-folder-video-tutorial/     Have fun!

Oh Snap! A Camera Card for JAI 201

Image
I've had this idea in my head for ages and when I saw the bright colour combo at Just Add Ink this week, I finally got around to transferring my thoughts onto paper!  One project from the very long list of 'must do's' is now done.  Sometimes I wake up at crazy times in the early hours of the morning with an idea and have to write it down just incase it 'floats' away.  Now I have Mondays off, once again, yay! ... I'm spending a bit more time seeing some of my thoughts turn into actual projects!  This is my second post for today and I have another two almost ready to go - a very productive craft day indeed. JAI 201   This Week's Colour Challenge at JAI   I designed the camera base using a variety of digital punches from MDS (My Digital Studio) and then cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo .  The following diagram shows you what digital punches I used for the mini camera album - Project Recipe: Stamp Set:  Hip Notes (O...

UNDEFINED Vespa Flip Card and Gift Card Holder

Image
I've always wanted a 'scooter' stamp so I got really brave and pulled out my UNDEFINED Stamp Carving Kit and set about making one for myself! My drawing skills 'suck' so I 'Googled' 'free svg files, scooter' and found this really cool silhouette image of a 1960's Piaggio Vespa , then printed out the image to the size that I wanted, traced around the outline with a pencil and transferred it to the piece of rubber from the UNDEFINED Stamp Carving Kit .  The tools were so easy to use and I was able to produce a slightly modified version of the clip art image (In other words, I left off all the little fiddly bits).     I absolutely LOVE the Thinlits Card Dies and decided to make a flip card to feature my newly stamped scooter image.  It was meant to go in the previous challenge at Just Add Ink but I got a bit busy this week on the work and home front and never got to finish it in time.   There's also lots of sneak peeks of some, ...

Hey There! for CCMC 284, Mojo Monday 327 and Addicted to CAS

Image
'Hey There' want to see some sneak peeks and other cool stuff 'cause I just made my first card for the year.  Yay! It's been ages since I ventured into my craft room to stamp.  I was in the middle of cleaning and tidying the kitchen drawers but got distracted by the arrival of some pre-order goodies.  I couldn't believe that my order only took 2 days to arrive.  That must be some sort of record for delivery to Tassie. I honestly didn't know where to begin so I went looking for a couple of challenges to help give me a 'kick start'.  The Colour challenge at CCMC looked like fun and I always love the sketches at Mojo Monday (even though I don't get a chance to join in very often).  So I put the two together and came up with this CAS card - Hey There! for CCMC and Mojo Monday   Create with Connie and Mary Colour Challenge #284 & Mojo Monday #327 & ... then I discovered that Addicted to CAS had a challenge with the...
