This week I have made a card from the very festive Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper.   It's made to look like gift wrapping, complete with a paper bow made from a 'bow punch' from the 'Tags for All' Digital Kit' (MDS). Wowee! Life has been hectic lately but I'm so pleased that I managed to get this project completed in time for SUO 103 .  This fortnight we are challenging you to make a project using Geometric Shapes and to 'move away' from the usual rectangles and squares that tend to feature in many paper craft projects. I went with a Hexagon Theme with my 3D download, DSP, die, stamp, punch and tag!        I just love the Cool Like That Giftable Templates and have waited to share the six sided box with lid so I could feature if for this challenge. I'm pretty chuffed with how it turned out. As many of you know, I am passionate about using MDS downloads with my e-cutter. It's fun and the possibilities are endless. Did you know that Stampin' Up! ® is releasing a new Holiday Catalogue on the 28th August?  I'm patiently waiting for my pre-order goodies to arrive but in the meantime, I decided to play with my new digital kit from MDS called All is Calm Party Ensemble . I used some retired DSP, a bit of Silver Ribbon, a punched butterfly and my trusty Silhouette Cameo (e-cutter) to make the Christmas Cracker. One great thing about digital downloads is that they are instant, so I get to play with some pre-order products straight away! Hello!  It's been a very cold, wet and windy Saturday so I thought I would brighten up my day by having a crack at my first 'card' for Project Life .  It's actually a Confetti Pocket Card made from Window Sheets and the PL Cards and Labels Dies . I love the latest theme for FM 166 so decided to join in with their latest challenge. The challenge over at the FRIDAY MASHUP is to - Create a project using "Sequins". Create  a "Hello or Hi project". or Mash it Up! and create a "Hello project with Sequins". I opted to mash it up and include a 'hello' and sequins!  It's also my first time playing along with their challenges. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm so glad this week is over as it was one of the busiest that I can recall.  Last weekend I was enjoying South Pacific Convention with friends and we were given so many new toys to play with, but there was no time for me to have any crafting fun since returning home as I was busy preparing for the School Registration Board Review Visit.   Thankfully, that was a really positive experience and today I have been chillaxing and trying out a new digital download and my Calypso Coral Blendabilities Markers (Sneak Peek). FMS 138 I created an ombre effect on the background piece of Whisper White Card Stock by colouring with the Dark , then Medium , then Light Calypso Coral Blendabilities .  The Happy Birthday sentiment is a digital download (a Sneak Peek from the Best Birthday Yet Digital Ensemble ) and was e-cut using my Silhouette Cameo .   The latest sketch at Freshly Made Sketches was perfect for what I wanted to do today.   Blendabilities ar...
