Some Fussy Cutting for an 18th Birthday Frame

Image
JAI 69 - Fussy Cutting This week's challenge at Just Add Ink is to add some Fussy Cutting . So why don't you get out the paper snips and see what intricate detail you can add to your paper craft project. The team have gone all out to provide some amazing inspiration so I hope you can find the time to play along. My 'Vintage Style' Frame was made for our DD who just recently turned 18. She thought that I had actually bought it like this, so I guess I'll take that as a compliment ... I think? Here are the details: Stamp Sets: Clearly for You, Artistic Etchings, Easter Blossoms, Aviary Ink: Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, Basic Black Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Naturals Ivory Accessories: Regals DSP (Cajun Craze), Newsprint DSP (18), Victoria Crochet Trim, Vintage Trinkets, Antique Brad, Dimensionals Non SU: Oval and Tag Nesties, Crochet Flower (hand made by yours truly) Happy crafting,

I just hope I can catch up with the other four members at some stage as it was such a blast getting to know these fabulous ladies. Back L - R: Tania Gould, Me, Jodene Tripp, Paula Dobson, Jo Eades Front L - R: Kim Badelt, Nikki Spencer, Mae Collins, Delys Cram Our Kind-Hearted Volunteer Photographers (dubbed the Paparazzi) The guy on the far right was the official photographer and you can see a photo of us on Shelli's Blog . Seriously, how cool is that??? I just love this photo of Delys and Paula, the two NZ gals on the JAI Team. It was taken just before the first main session. Here's Sharnee Torrents (a fellow Tassie friend/demo/'side line') doing a Workshop WOW on stage. We were in awe of her torn paper frame demonstration. Super job!!! Jodene and Paula waiting for the Make 'n' Take Session to begin I had a lovely photo of Cathy Clark and Peggy Quarmby from WA ...

Convention in Melbourne! Yay!! Crazy for Cupcakes This week at Just Add Ink we have a sketch for you. I'm happy to say that this is the very first one that I have designed and was so excited to put it together using a graphics program that I purchased over the Summer Break. I hope it inspires you to play along. Most of the JAI Team will be going away for Convention so we have extended the challenge for another week and entries close on Wednesday 18th May at midnight. JAI 67 - Sketch I had so many ideas for this sketch that it was difficult to settle on one and I pulled a bit of a late nighter (early morning) to whip this up. My mojo had taken a hike as it was difficult to get butterflies and easel cards out of my brain to produce ...
