DD # 8 - Monochromatic

I love monochromatic challenges and this week at Dynamic Duos we have a beautiful combination of 'earthy' colours. River Rock is not everyone's 'cup of tea' but it's definitely my cup of 'coffee' because I was pretty happy when SU decided to bring it back and it looks fantastic teamed up with Always Artichoke.

For my card, I inked up my new Coffee Cozy Set from Lil' Inker Designs to make a birthday card for hubby. It should read, "I LOVE you more than coffee" and that would be 'saying something'! :)

Now that sentiment really makes a statement! :) I love coffee too! Love how you used coffee as the theme on this card...all I could think about was using something from nature! Love this!!!

As I sit here sipping my Starbucks....I just love this one Bronwyn! Such a wonderful way to feature the colors and I especially like the notebook punched border and the ric rac trim. Everything just works so perfectly together. That easel card is pretty fabulous, also. I love that stamp set with the coordinating puches. Hope you have a fun day today! Big hugs! :)

You really work these colors well together on both cards! It's a lovely combo, and I love the chevrons and punched border on the first. The shaped card is just lovely and I love the bird! NJ on both!
