Gumnuts for The Colour Tree

Image
Yay!  I actually made a card today.  Due to the busyness of work, I hadn't ventured into my craft room for two months!  I am very thankful for the Easter break because I finally had a chance to start tidying up my very messy craft room and 'christen' a new Kaisercraft Die called Gumnuts .   This card has a split front panel and incorporates the colours from the latest challenge at The Colour Tree .  The leaves and gum nuts were sponged with Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede Ink to add more depth.  The Lost Lagoon DSP panel is from a retired SU DSP stack.  Kaisercraft Gumnuts - DD 359    March has been a bit of a quiet month at TCT but hopefully this earthy colour palette and some extra crafting time will inspire you to join in with this week's colour challenge. Hope to see your project in the link up. Thanks for stopping by,

The Colour Tree Challenge #10

Image
Hi there.  I'm so glad you have stopped by TCT Challenges .  If you love neutral shades you're going to love this week's colour combo at The Colour Tree .  Sadly I don't have a project to share with you today as my day job is all consuming at the moment and my craft room is in chaos.  These two factors combined equals zero 'mojo' for me :(  My stash of cards that I made over the summer break for TCTC have run out and I will need to wait until after Easter before I can find the time to craft again. Thankfully, Liz, my March Guest Designer has a project to share with you.  Make sure you hop by her blog and leave some comment love - Elizabeth Gross Tomorrow I'm off to Sydney for a Principal's Conference so I will check in next weekend to see what projects have been linked up.  Until then ... Happy crafting! About The Colour Tree Challenges - Every Sunday night at 7pm (AEDT) I host a weekly colour challenge where you can ink...

Post It Note Holder with Gel Pen

Vintage Bird Post It Note Holder A Glimpse Inside This is the little post-it note holder that we made at Stamp Class last Friday night. Thanks to Rochelle for hosting such a fun evening. This was the second project out of three that we made. I'm hoping Rochelle will post details on her blog soon (hint, hint) so I can link you up to the directions on how to make this cute little gift. PS: Here's the link . Happy crafting. We made these using Old Olive Cardstock and the Vintage Vogue stamp set. I chose to decorate mine with the XL Two-Step Bird Punch using Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry with a bit of sponging. I love how it turned out. Thanks, Rochelle, for a fun, quick and easy project to do! Well, I'm home on my day off today busily doing housework, writing an Individual Education Program for a child in my class and catching up on some posts. You'll know when another post pops into view later on in the day, that I needed a break from the compilation of as...
