Ornament Easel

This is my first go at a 'Flying Easel Card'.  I have been trying to come up with a fun design for a Christmas Make 'n' Take and this one didn't make the cut either.  It's a little 'ho-hum'.  Great sentiment stamp and mechanics but it just doesn't have that 'wow' factor.

You'll be pleased to know that I did get there in the end and I will post the actual Make 'n' Take card tomorrow.

Happy stamping!

Gumnuts for The Colour Tree

Image
Yay!  I actually made a card today.  Due to the busyness of work, I hadn't ventured into my craft room for two months!  I am very thankful for the Easter break because I finally had a chance to start tidying up my very messy craft room and 'christen' a new Kaisercraft Die called Gumnuts .   This card has a split front panel and incorporates the colours from the latest challenge at The Colour Tree .  The leaves and gum nuts were sponged with Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede Ink to add more depth.  The Lost Lagoon DSP panel is from a retired SU DSP stack.  Kaisercraft Gumnuts - DD 359    March has been a bit of a quiet month at TCT but hopefully this earthy colour palette and some extra crafting time will inspire you to join in with this week's colour challenge. Hope to see your project in the link up. Thanks for stopping by,

The link is on my side bar and at the beginning of this post. With my card for this week, I also went with the idea of a birthday card for a little boy!! I think Hudson will be turning three next birthday?? I cracked open my pack off Ballet Blue Cardstock and took the wrapping off the matching ink pad that I had bought months ago to combine with th...

The Colour Tree Challenge #10

Image
Hi there.  I'm so glad you have stopped by TCT Challenges .  If you love neutral shades you're going to love this week's colour combo at The Colour Tree .  Sadly I don't have a project to share with you today as my day job is all consuming at the moment and my craft room is in chaos.  These two factors combined equals zero 'mojo' for me :(  My stash of cards that I made over the summer break for TCTC have run out and I will need to wait until after Easter before I can find the time to craft again. Thankfully, Liz, my March Guest Designer has a project to share with you.  Make sure you hop by her blog and leave some comment love - Elizabeth Gross Tomorrow I'm off to Sydney for a Principal's Conference so I will check in next weekend to see what projects have been linked up.  Until then ... Happy crafting! About The Colour Tree Challenges - Every Sunday night at 7pm (AEDT) I host a weekly colour challenge where you can ink...
