It's lovely to get some happy mail amongst the bills and advertising material. When I opened each of these little beauties they certainly brought a smile to my face. A big thanks goes out to all the 'senders'. XX
How sweet ... and how thoughtful ... AND ... how well deserved, Bronwyn! It's always lovely to get happy mail. Hugs xxaxx PS I am still having computer probs ... after a major crash! Punch Bunch Easel Cards I was thrilled to be asked back to be a Guest Designer for the Oh My Word !! Edition of UStamp with Dawn and Friends . My tutorial was featured on-line today so I am excited to be able to release some photos of the cards that I created especially for this round. If you know me well enough, you'll know that I love to make easel cards, especially scallop circle ones. When I was asked to think of a project, I started to think of other ways I could make easel cards using the Big Shot Dies that I owned. My mind is still 'ticking' with other possibilities but they will have to wait for another day! Here's what I came up with - #1 - Scallop Square Easel Card #2 - Scallop Circle Easel Card For my blog tutorial please visit - http://addinktivedesigns.blogspot.com/2010/10/scallop-circle-easel-card-tutorial.html #3 - Top Note (Horizontal) Easel Card/Photo Frame #4 - Beautiful Butterflies Easel Card For my blog tutorial please visit - http://addinkt...
Too Cute to Handle There's a colour challenge on this week at Just Add Ink . I found the colour combo a little tricky and then re-read my notebook to discover that it was one of my suggestions! Ooops! No-one to blame but myself! This week's Colour Combo The card evolved from me wanting to use the cute Rose Red coloured Designer Hardware from the 'Hooray' collection (Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue) as a starting point! The sentiment then led me to use the little tea cup stamp called, 'Share a Cup'. It's one of my favourite stamps and so versatile! ... and so the design 'blossomed' from there. The little flowers coming from the cup are attached to small lengths of florist wire. Project Recipe: Stamp Sets: One of a Kind, Share a Cup Ink: Rose Red, Soft Suede, Elegant Eggplant Cardstock: RR, SS, EE and Very Vanilla Accessories: 1/2" SS Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Sizzlits Little Leaves Die, 5-Petal Flower and Boho Blossoms Punches, ...
Here's a card I made especially for the latest challenge at Freshly Made Sketches - Freshly Made Spice Cake I hope the leaf flourish is okay for the 'square' section of the sketch as I did not want to cover up the woven panel. Here's the sketch - It's been so nice to take some time out to craft before the rush to write end of year reports, go to presentations nights, son's graduation, organise the finer details for daughter's leaver's dinner, all of which are fast approaching! So I'm crafting while I still have a small window of opportunity. Project Recipe: Stamps: Spiced Paisley (SU December Release), It's Your Day Ink: Chocolate Chip, More Mustard Card Stock: Very Vanilla, More Mustard, Pear Pizzazz Accessories: Blossom Party Die, Spice Cake DSP (SU December Release), 1/2" Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Victoria Crochet Trim, Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Leaf Flourish Die (Marieanne Creatables) and ...
