A Sketch for JAI 70 ... Because I Care

This week I have designed a round sketch for our 70th Challenge at Just Add Ink.

If you follow my blog you'll know that I went through a 'scallop circle easel card phase' and so this round sketch is probably highly influenced by that 'era'. Now that I have re-visited my past and created yet another one of these little beauties, I wonder why I ever bother to make the occasional ordinary rectangular card! ;) ... enough said - I LOVE round cards!

I decided to ink up, for the very first time, my Hostess L1 stamp set called, Because I Care and have a go at making a Vintage inspired creation.

Because I Care

JAI 70

Please click HERE for a free step by step tutorial on how to make your own
Scallop Circle Easel Card.

Project Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Because I Care (Hostess L1), Wonderfully Worn (background stamp)
Ink: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Perfect Plum
Card Stock: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Newsprint DSP, Victoria Crochet Trim, Antique Brad, Basic Jewels - Pearls, Scallop Circle Bigz Die, Stamping Sponges, Distressing Tool from the Cutter Kit, Dimensionals, Blender Pen

As you can see, the sketch does not have to be taken literally. Why don't you hop on over to the Just Add Ink Challenge Blog to get some awesome inspiration from the rest of the team and link up your entry.

I love your easel cards and this one is no exception! The double lacey bow finishes it off beautifully.

I too, am a fan of the round card! And, also of your creation here, just gorgeous!!
Gorgeous Bronwyn. I really love the way you've coloured your hydrangea and it looks so great against that newsprint paper. You are really tempting me to buy that circle scallop die and now your tempting me with the lace too :)
Beautiful easel card with fab colours!!!!!
