Eeeeek! I'm so Excited! I made a Butterfly Easel Card using MDS and an E-Cutter

A HUGE, momentous occasion today because I finally created a butterfly easel card using Stampin' Up! Digital Punches from My Digital Studio (MDS) which I cut out using an E-cutter.  Not only can I now make my butterfly easel cards a lot larger but I can also watch them being cut out!  That's fantastic news, especially if I want to make lots of them.  Yippee!

Well, I'm excited anyway :)

Seeing I can't get to Brisbane for Convention this year, I might have to do a 'swap by mail'  or send some along with my up-line, Sharnee, if anyone is interested (Colour and embossing may vary).

Doing a little happy dance right now and haven't been able to contain my immense pleasure at watching my E-cutter do most of the hard work.

A huge big thanks to Kimberley and Heather who ran a 10 day digital course.  I was hanging out for the tutorials on using MDS and my Silhouette Cameo.  I had to upgrade my Silhouette program to the 'Designer Edition' so it could take SVG files but it was worth every dollar spent.  Happy early Mother's Day to me :)

My MDS, E-Cut, Butterfly Easel Card
After my pieces were electronically cut, I embossed the two front butterflies with the Finial Press Textured Embossing Folder, sponged around the edges, attached them together with an Antique Brad and stamped the sentiment, "Every one of us is God's special work of art", from the 'Trust God' stamp set, onto the base of the butterfly.

Compare the Sizes -
The card on the right is the one made with the Big Shot and the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die.  It is a great size for place cards or small note cards.  The one that I made today is your 'average greeting card size'.  I guess you're probably starting to understand why I'm just a tad excited.  Oh! the possibilities.

I will put together a photographic tutorial very soon, so you can see how I used the digital butterfly punches to design my easel card.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
