Tania's Talented Mum, Jeane

I had to feature another 'guest' on my blog, the lovely Jeane. She is Tania's mum. You can see where Tania gets her talent from. I work with Jeane and a few years back, CCA sent us on a school sponsored trip to Vanuatu. I got to know her really well but she's been hiding her crafting talent up until now. I just love the colours and combination of stamp sets here. Hope to feature some more of her designs at a later stage.

I am really looking forward to the school holidays so I can get back into paper crafting. Sickness and then reports have kept me out of action for awhile. Thanks for browsing at my little blog. I've just had a fellow Tasmanian look at my posts on Splitcoast and we've emailed. Hope to catch up with Kathy in Hobart. Technology is a great tool to help form connections. What a blessed life I have.

Photo Wallet and Butterfly Easel Card The Colour Combo for Just Add Ink's 57th Challenge Butterfly Easel Card I designed a butterfly easel card for my latest project at UStamp with Dawn and Friends using the Punch Bunch Stamp Set . For this challenge I popped the little butterfly from the Bliss Set , added some pearls and stamped the gorgeous flourish from the same SAB stamp set to form the background pattern for both die cut butterflies. Scallop Circle Easel Card Tutorial

Punch Potpourri Scallop Circle Easel Card in the Dynamic Duo of Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink 1. Score a piece of card stock through the middle (which is double the length of your die) and line up the folded piece over the Scallop Circle Die (SCD) leaving 4 scallops at the top to form the base of your card. This is how it should look after you run it through the Big Shot Machine . 2. Score a line through the middle of the top Scallop Circle and fold upwards. 3. Apply Sticky Strip or glue to half the Scallop Circle as shown above. 4. Cut out a single Scallop Circle in the same colour (Melon Mambo) and stick it to the folded half so the top layer sits up like an easel (The top half that is facing will now be a double layer and the bottom half, a single layer of card stock). 5. Cut two circles using the lighter shade (Pretty In Pink) and attach one to the base of the card. Butterfly Easel Card

  This card uses SU's Blushing Bride card stock and ink, the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die and Antique Brads . The sentiment is from the stamp set, Butterfly Prints and I have used the textured impressions embossing folder, Finial Press in this example.
