Just Add Colour with a Mini Photo Wallet

Image
Photo Wallet and Butterfly Easel Card The Colour Combo for Just Add Ink's 57th Challenge Butterfly Easel Card I designed a butterfly easel card for my latest project at UStamp with Dawn and Friends using the Punch Bunch Stamp Set . For this challenge I popped the little butterfly from the Bliss Set , added some pearls and stamped the gorgeous flourish from the same SAB stamp set to form the background pattern for both die cut butterflies. I also sponged around the edges with River Rock Ink. PS: Thanks again to Nancy Riley for choosing this card as one of her iPicks for this week! Inside the Photo Wallet This would make a Lovely Hostess Gift (especially for a scrap-booking enthusiast) Complete with Photo Mats Instructions for the Photo Wallet can be found HERE . My Tutorial for the Butterfly Easel Card can be found HERE . Project Recipe for Photo Wallet and Butterfly Easel Card Stamps: Bliss (SAB), Fresh Cuts Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, River Rock Card Stock...

JAI 73 - Sketch

Image
A Zip with Sweet Buttons Mae has designed another great sketch for Just Add Ink's 73rd Challenge. I had a bit of fun with it and hope you do too! Project Recipe: Stamp Set: Priceless Ink: Basic Black Card Stock: Very Vanilla Accessories: Sweet Buttons Embosslits, Framed Tulips and Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folders, Dimensionals Non-SU: Black Zip JAI 73 - Sketch from Mae I liked the idea of putting a zip on the card to go with the Sweet Buttons Embosslits and got my inspiration from here . I have been trying to convince myself that I don't need the Sew Suite Stamp Set but after seeing so many innovative ways to use it, I may have had a change of heart. I love sketch challenges and the inspiration from the amazing Design Team at Just Add Ink , should be enough to get you motivated to join in too. Happy stamping!

JAI 106 - Sketch Challenge

Image
Just Add Ink have a Sketch Challenge this week and seeing it was my last sketch design as a DT Member, I thought I'd join in for old times' sake. Everyday Daisy JAI 106 - the Sketch As you can see, I flipped the sketch on its side and kept pretty close to the layout. I used a colour palette inspired by the gorgeous Everyday Enchantment DSP (SU) of Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Soft Suede. Crumb Cake was used as a base and Confetti White for the fence and sentiment. The beautiful daisy cut outs were part of an awesome package of goodies from Helen as a thanks for letting her loose in my craft room a few weeks ago. Thanks again :) Just a little note to let you know that I won't be blogging for the month of March as I've decided to have a little break. I'll still be creating, gathering ideas on Pinterest and visiting blogs but I need to see if I can cut back my time on the Internet. I'm not sure if you'll get bombarded with posts in Ap...
