Just Add a Box or a Bag - JAI 62

I made a little 6X6 Bag ...

... from Love Letter DSP

... and my favourite Sale-a-bration set, Bliss.
(SAB Promotion has now ended)

It's just the right size for a lip balm or a little chocolate bar.

It was so easy to make and you can find the tutorial at
Stamp and Scrap with Frenchie

At Just Add Ink we've gone all 3D for our challenge this week to make a box or a bag. I first spotted this cute little bag at Splitcoaststampers made from a piece of 6X6 DSP and couldn't resist trying it out for myself.

I also had to use Bliss again as that little butterfly stamp was just the right embellishment for my 'Houndstooth' handbag. Sadly, Sale-a-bration came to an end yesterday but the good news is the brand new Australian Autumn/Winter Catalogue was released TODAY!! I've already shown you a couple of sneak peeks in previous posts but can't wait to share some more goodies with you.

Project Recipe for JAI 62 - 6X6 Bag
Stamp Set: Bliss (SAB/retired)
Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Basic Black
Ink: Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler Ink and Stampin' Write Marker
Accessories: Love Letter DSP, 1/4" Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Metallic Brads, Large Oval and Scallop Oval Punches, Dimensionals, Sticky Strip

So have you got a sweet little box or bag you'd like to make for this challenge? If so, head on over to the Just Add Ink site to link up your entry and check out some fabulous inspiration from the DT Members. We are also excited to have our first two Guest Designers join us for the month of April.

I'm really looking forward to browsing through all the entries and no doubt we will have lots of extra resources in the form of more links to fabulous templates and tutorials by the time the challenge has ended!

Happy Crafting,

Love this cute bag Bron♥. The houndstooth pattern reminds me of the uniform we had way back when I was a Tupperware Manager...ask your mum if she remembers that, I hope they still don't have them! It looks cute on the bag but I didn't like it as a jacket! LOL
