JAI 94 - The Sketch

I made a scallop circle easel card using the beautiful DSP called Spice Cake and the matching stamp set, Spiced Paisley (SU December release). As you can see, I stuck pretty much to the sketch layout and used a swallow sizzlit die for the bird image and a beautiful flourish leaf die from Marianne Creatables.

My tutorial for a scallop circle easel card can be found here - http://addinktivedesigns.blogspot.com/2010/10/scallop-circle-easel-card-tutorial.html

Life can be very busy at this time of the year but we hope you'll snatch some crafting time over the next few days, to join us at Just Add Ink for our latest sketch challenge. Make sure you hop on over to our challenge blog, check out the gorgeous inspiration from the other DT members and link up your own entry.

Happy stamping!

I LOVE this Bron. I love the Spiced Cake DSP so much I broke my rule of not ordering DSP, esp from minis. Still deciding if I need the stamp set as well, although looking at this gorgeous creation, I'm leaning towards yes.

What a luscious combination of stamps, papers and colours on this one, Bron! It's a real feast for the eyes. Just love those flowers.

How gorgeously elaborate is this Bron :) I totally agree with Jo - had no intention of buying the stamp set but seriously reconsidering it now! Love the bird sizzlet - just perfect :)

This is absolutely divine Bron. Love the Spice Cake dsp and have already had a play with it myself. I've been thinking that I don't need another stamp set, but you're fast changing my mind. Love those bows!
